Entry from: Paris, France Entry Title: "What do I say about today?" Entry: "Today was interesting, indeed! Most of you know that I'm a planner. Plan, plan, plan. Today my plans were not quite fulfilled, due to my own oversight. After being so concerned about getting to the train station and all that's involved with getting our prepaid tickets, that all went very well. There was a slight problem because the credit card I used to make the reservation was stolen. The rail company insisted I use the same credit card. We worked that out without too much problem. Then things got interesting. I had copied the wrong correspondence from the tour guide in Giverny and recalled the opposite of their instructions as to where to meet at the site of Monet's farm. There's more to this story than I want to get into right now. Suffice to say that we saw a lot of flowers and they were super pretty, but we did not get on the farm and we did not have a tour. We couldn't find the tour guide, partly because there were lots of people there. We did make it back to Paris after about an hour in Giverny. Maybe next time we're here we will try again. I'll include a few photos for you. Tomorrow will be a challenge as we have to pick up a rental and drive to the Normandy area. Thanks for praying for us! Love to all, Bob" Read ...
