The Nickelodeon cartoon series The Wild Thornberrys gets its first feature-length animated film, directed by show creator Cathy Malkasian with a screenplay by Kate Boutilier (writer of Nickelodeon's Rugrats in Paris). The main character is 12-year-old Eliza Thornberry (voice of Lacey Chabert), a braces-and-glasses-wearing eccentric girl in an adventurous family of travelers. Due to an interaction with a shaman, she has been granted the special power of communication with animals, as long as she promises not to tell anyone about it. Her powers are challenged when her parents, Nigel (voice of Tim Curry) and Marianne (voice of Jodi Carlisle), decide to take the family on an African safari to make a nature documentary. Also along for the trip is snobby sister Debbie (voice of Danielle Harris), feral youngster Donnie (voice of Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers), and pet chimpanzee Darwin (voice of Tom Kane). After her new Cheetah cub friend is stolen by poachers, Eliza is determined to get involved. However, the stuffy Thornberry grandparents get in the way by sending her to boarding school. It's up to Eliza and Darwin to defeat the poachers and save the cub. Also featuring the voice talents of Brenda Blethyn and Lynn Redgrave.

Aviation - Curtis Pitts' classic biplane design has grown over the years from a diminutive homebuilt aerobatic airplane with a relatively tiny engine and a single seat, to FAA certified factory-built two-seaters. And there has been every conceivable variant in between. The S2B version of this aerobatic icon is the Big Daddy of the Pitts line, now manufactured by Aviat Aircraft in Afton, Wyoming. It sports a 260 hp Lycoming engine, and you will find them doing airshows, in competition all over the world, and on line at aerobatic flight schools. Recently, the S2C version was introduced with more power and slightly refined wings and tail, but still it retains the classic Pitts profile. Curtis Pitts began the design of a single-seat aerobatic biplane in 1943--1944.[3] The design has been refined continuously since the prototype's first flight in September 1944, however, the current Pitts Specials still remain quite close to the original in concept and in design. Pitts also built several monoplane racing planes in the 1940s--1950s, the most famous of which was the low-winged "Pellet" of 1947 and the mid-winged "Lil' Monster" of 1951.[5] Among other one-off projects, he also built a two-seat sport monoplane called the "Big Hickey". Several of the aircraft that Curtis Pitts built had a picture of a skunk on them and were called "Stinkers". Delhi-based Rohan Sood lives a wealthy lifestyle along with his businessman dad, Shekhar, and mom, Renu. He attends St. Lawrence High School and is friendly with Vasu, Sudhir and Javed, and together the friends land in hot water virtually everyday. Then everything changes when he first sets eyes on heart-achingly beautiful new student, Ayesha Mehra, who was born in London, England, and also lives a wealthy lifestyle with her mom, Sheetal, and businessman dad. Both Rohan and Ayesha are attracted to each other and decide to go on a Karaoke date - with disastrous results as both end up in a vehicle accident. Their relationship sours with rumors of Ayesha being attracted to Shantanu and Rohan dating Simran, and both part ways.
