I think I'm finally getting over the jetlag. It feels like all I've really been doing the last few days is SLEEP! But right now I truly feel rested. My presessional classes start this week, so I think that will help, getting into a routine and all. My bus tour yesterday was great! It gave me a taste of what life in Glasgow can be. The tour included a couple stops to museums like the museum of transportation and the Burrell collection. Get this: all musuems are free in scotland! :) I'll definitely be taking advantage of that! At the Polluck Park/ Burrell Collection I saw the "Thinker" statue. It was probably less than 3 feet high! Funny how the famous things are always made out to be bigger and better than they are. (The Mona Lisa in Paris is also like that.) Living on my own is harder than I thought. In terms of cooking, I mean. It was so hard getting the "hob" to work, too. I couldn't get the water to boil at all! Then I completely ruined an £.86 package of noodles because I put wayyyyy too much water in it. It wasn't pasta, it was soup! (Ew.) Luckily I sort of salvaged it with some tomato and basil sauce I bought for my spaghetti later in the ...
